Om lid te kunnen worden van onze club en mee te kunnen spelen in onze competitie is een bepaalde basiskennis vereist. Het kind moet weten wat legale zetten zijn en in staat zijn om een partij te spelen. Daarom vragen we aan nieuwe kinderen om een instaptoets te maken. Als deze toets met goed gevolgd wordt afgelegd, dan kan het kind lid worden zodra er plek is in een groep die past qua leeftijd, niveau en taal (Nederlands/Engels). Aan de hand van de toets wordt ook het start niveau bepaald. Helaas is er een erg lange wachtlijst voor de stappenniveaus 1 en 2 en kan het dus lang duren voordat er een plaats vrij komt. Als uw kind in stap 3 zit kan hij of zij eventueel alsnog lid worden van de club.

To be able to become a member of our club and play in our competition, a certain understanding of the basic rules is required. He or she should know which moves are legal and which are illegal, and be able to play a game. When a child is interested in joining our club we will first ask him/her to make a basic test. The result of this test will determine whether we can accept the child as soon as a seat in an appropriate group that fits age, skill-level and language (Dutch/English) becomes available, or if he/she needs to understand the rules better in order to become a member. Unfortunately, there is a really long queue for the step levels 1 and 2, so it can take a long time before a seat becomes available. If your child is at step 3 or higher, there is a possibility that he or she can become a member of the club.

Voor het seizoen 2025-2026 gelden de volgende contributiebedragen:

* Nieuwe jeugdleden betalen daarnaast eenmalig € 10,= inschrijfgeld.
* Voltijd studenten krijgen een korting van 10%.
* Bij meer dan 2 leden uit hetzelfde gezin bestaat er recht op gezinskorting: 50% voor het 3e en volgende lid (aflopend gesorteerd op leeftijd).
* Voor het voldoen van de contributie ontvangt u van de penningmeester een verzoek tot betaling.
* Het IBAN-nummer van de club is: NL64 INGB 00 03 26 62 16 ten name van Schaakvereniging Zukertort Amstelveen te Amstelveen.
* Opzegging van het lidmaatschap dient uiterlijk 4 weken vóór de start van het nieuwe seizoen (1 juli) plaats te vinden.

* New youth members in addition pay a once-only € 10,= registration fee.
* Full time students receive a discount of 10%.
* With more than 2 members of the same family, the right of a family discount exists: 50% for the 3rd and next member (sorted in descendent order by age).
* You will receive a request for payment from the treasurer for satisfying the membership fee.
* The number of the bank account of the club is: NL64 INGB 00 03 26 62 16 in the name of Schaakvereniging Zukertort Amstelveen in Amstelveen.
* Cancellation of the membership must have taken place at the latest 4 weeks before the start of the new season (July 1st).
